"A Knight to Remember" – Carlo and Caesar - A fascinating encampment of the 16th century knight complete with horse, squire, weapons, and historical artifacts. Learn about the life of a knight, historical weapons, how armor functions,  and the training of a war horse.

Shattock Schoole of Defence - Shattock (14).jpg (61740 bytes) Shattock has performed for a wide variety of audiences at both Renaissance and community events since 1998. Shattock shows use colorful characters, exciting swordplay and sharp wit to entertain the whole family.

Dan Coglan's Samurai Performance Troupe - wpe4.jpg (13144 bytes)Far from being a mere martial arts show, we incorporate music (taiko drumming), interaction with the audience, and precision sword combat with an elaborate stage set.  We have hand-made samurai armor, a 700-year old blade that we perform tameshigiri (test-cutting) with at the conclusion of each show, and have games for the children.

 

Reverend Fran Strong - Hammered Dulcimer in the Celtic / Irish Tradition.

 

Jen Ward - a very clear and strong Vocalist who specializes in Celtic Music.

 

UP North Connection - a local Bluegrass band who have reached back to the music's Scottish and Irish roots.  Bill Gerlach, jr. on Guitar; Bob Juntunen on Mandolin; and Brian Ciesielczyk on Base.

 

Theatre in the Wood - Brought to you by the "Dark Forest Players", strange and exciting things can be witnessed as you are guided through the mysterious trails of Lochenwold.
